Balloon Glow Festival Lights Up the Night Sky

Preston Trail Community Church brings together family, fun and faith in a festive night to remember.

By Laura Lui October 28, 2024

Preston Trail Community Church sure knows how to throw a flawless family fiesta! Their Balloon Glow festival was a treasure trove of fun for everyone—like a carnival exploded with joy! Here are 5 of our favorite things:

1. FREE carnival games and face painting

From face painting masterpieces to carnival games galore, tetherball to football bowling the excitement never hit pause.

2. Toddler Zone

The toddler zone was a total winner, full of fun activities and perfectly tucked away from the music so sensitive ears could enjoy without being overwhelmed.

3. Amazing Volunteers

And let’s talk about the volunteers! These awesome folks were like a super squad of cheerfulness, always ready to lend a hand and crack a joke. They tackled everything from guiding us to free parking to making sure every activity ran smoother than a freshly buttered corn from one of the food trucks!

4. The Balloons

We got to get up close and personal with these beauties and even enjoyed the pilots skills in lighting up their balloons to the beat of the music.

5. Focus on Community

Here at Macaroni KID McKinney, community is our jam! We work hard to connect the community through events and service. And let me tell you, the Balloon Glow festival was everything we love to see! What a spectacular night of community celebration, and we can’t wait to float into Preston Trail’s next shindig!
